Semi-solid

Finally, I have started my semi-solid food. Prior to that, Mommy prepared her gadgets like the blender, grinders, baby cubes and some rice cereals to start with, she is very excited, she can't wait to see me on solid as mommy found me lost my baby fats and hoping to fatten me up with these food... mama, I am watching my figure la...

Mommy made me the sweet potato puree for the first time. It is a organic sweet potato, i dun really like it then mommy mix it with the Heinz rice cereal and i managed to swallowed it. Still i think it was awful, i prefer my milk!!

Then Yiyi Candy made the apple puree the next day, she found it fun and hoping that I can finish the whole bowl of apple. With only 6 month, how can I finihs the whole fuji apple?? Mommy then proportioned them in 6 cubes and freeze them so that I can enjoy them slowly.

Today, i am turning 6th month old. Mommy brought me to Raffles Shopping Mall for a walk after my 2nd 6-in-1 jab at Dr. Ang's clinic. Yiyi Candy bought me a lollipop and a small cake for my official half year old birthday. Mommy said i can't taste them before turning 1 year old. Thus, I was just holding my lollipop and licking the wrapper, trying to get some taste of it.

Mommy went for gossiping again... with all forum mommies at Auntie Doris place on Sunday. Auntie Doris was very kind and warm, she invited about 20 mommies, daddies and babies to her house for a grand gathering. As potluck lunch was proposed by the organiser, mommy got kakak to make some spring rolls for all.

Daddy sent us to Auntie Doris's place at Sengkang and he left to meet his friends. My Daddy is a MCP, he always think that meeting with all WOMEN is a big NO NO for man, he can never blend into the conversation about diapers and milk powder.

It was very crowded and noisy, babies were crying of wet diaper, sleepy, hungry and etc... But i enjoyed playing with some babies like Ler Xuan, Damien, Erica, Jorel, Shaine and many more...Hmm.. i do like to play with all my mini friends, perhaps mommy will always have gossiping session with their mommies...hehehe...

Meeting New Friends

Today is the first time Mommy meeting her May Forum's mommies and babies. Mommy was very excited as this is the first time mommy bring me out alone without daddy and kakak's company. Daddy was a bit worried and fetched us to Vivo City after his meeting. During the event I was able to mingle with new friends like Raphel and Rayen.

Mozzies Attack

Ooohh... Urrrch... itchy.. itchy..Poor little me, i was attacked by mozzies when back to Ah Mah's place in Malaysia. Mommy brought me to the doctor and was given Fucicort Cream to be applied day and nite. I can't stand the itchiness and keep scratching my face. Mommy had no choice but swaddled me like a new born baby. Look at my face... 1,2,3 and 4 mosquito bites...not counting the few on my head and 2 near my wrist.

Mommy's Confinement is over!!

Mommy said hurray!.. finally the confinement is over... and i am going to have my full moon celebration on Sunday afternoon at the Multi Purpose Hall next to the swimming pool. Mommy was very busy for the preparation of the food and invitation of guests. She enegaged the Elssie Kitchen as food catering and also ordered the full moon cake from the Sweetest Moments. Daddy choosed the "modern twist" as there are 2 brownies in the package as my daddy loves chocolate, mommy then changed the 2 mochi to ang ku kueh, she said must have that for the full moon, as it is the tradition of Chinese for the full moon celebrations.

Do i look like Shao Lin monk?? Daddy n Mommy decided to shave off my head for a better growth of my hair and some kind of Chinese believes when turning full month. My hair was collected to make a hair brush as a gift from them. Perhaps it can be used when I attending my caligraphy class next time.

After 38 weeks in mommy's tummy, finally i was out to see the world. Nai nai, Gu gu, Ah gong, ah Mah, Yiyi and some other relatives and friends came to see little me in the hospital while i can barely open my eyes. Everyone said i resemble my daddy.. Mommy, what do you think??
